It was such a wonderful, warm, spring day to gather together to celebrate the new homes of Alicia and Jonathan & Kindra. These homebuyers have waited 2 years to finally celebrate this moment! They have been a part of the process of their home being built from the very beginning, writing messages on the studs of their homes, painting walls, finishing trim, and working hard to earn their 300 hours of sweat equity. They have paid off debt, learned financial planning skills, and partnered with Habitat to achieve this amazing goal of owning their own homes!
We are incredibly grateful for every single company and donor who works with us to see this dream become a reality. Every ReStore shopper and donor makes it possible for us to build homes for hard working families like these! Their children will be able to grow up in a safe home that their parents can afford because of the support of all of you!
We would normally host our home dedication as an event open to our community to join us and celebrate. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we decided to keep this home dedication small, with only close family and staff present. Even though our wonderful donors and supporters were not able to visit these homes in person, we wanted to provide the ability to have a virtual home tour through the photos below!
