We're building house number 5 Sonora, California
On September 5 construction began on the 5th home to be built by Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County, Inc. Kurt Marinovich of KJM Construction and his crew are generously donating their time and talents to install the foundation at 20443 Canyonview Drive, the future home of Denice McKenzie and her three daughters. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Habitat for Humanity of Tuolumne County, Inc. is having a Site Dedication Ceremony on Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 PM at the building site. The public is invited to attend to meet Denice and her family, see the progress that has been made, and show your support for Habitat.
To ensure they have enough volunteers lined up to complete the building of the house, Habitat will be holding two Volunteer Orientation meetings: one on September 17 at 1:00 PM and another on September 19 at 6:30 PM. Both will be held at the Senior Center at 540 Greenley Road in Sonora. For more information on the Dedication Ceremony or the Volunteer Orientations, contact Betsy Harden at 209-536-0970.
