Buy-A-Stud Radiothon October 5th and 6th
The “Buy A-Stud” event is one of this affiliate’s major fund raising activities and helps celebrate the cooperation between Habitat and local businesses. We are partnering with Andy’s Hardware for a two-day event to be held October 5th and 6th. Andy’s is providing us with the free use of their parking lot and two large tents. They are also partnering with Habitat in newspaper and radio advertising to promote this event.
Andy’s plans to bring in several tool manufacturing representatives to be on hand that weekend to demonstrate their latest “gadgets”. In addition, local radio station KZSQ will be on hand Friday the 5th with their Jackpot Machine and offer everyone a chance to win a new car. Andy’s is also donating other prizes. KZSQ will be on the air, broadcasting live from the parking lot from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Friday, October 5. They will be urging people to stop by, take a turn at the wheel and also make a pledge to Habitat.
