Progress on Brennan Home

As soon as we received our building permit, we had a crew ready to go. Thanks to Dave Turner, Joe Salvo, Jack S Samuelian, Kurt Marinovich, Jim Floyd, Mike & Tyler O’Reilly, Ray Pfoutz, and Deana Zay for helping with the pouring of the concrete for the stem walls on the Brennan home.

On Monday, December 8, we poured the foundation. On Friday, December 12, the first wall was framed by volunteers Mike O’Reilly, Dave Turner, Joe Salvo, Bob Hassard, and Ray Pfoutz. We have many eager building volunteers ready to get started. Our Construction Volunteer Coordinator, Katy Greenwood, will be contacting and scheduling construction volunteers over the next several weeks.

Due to limited parking at the site and the steepness of the lot, we cannot safely have more than eight volunteers on site on any given day. This means that not everyone who has generously volunteered to build will be given the opportunity, but we’ll do our best to include as many as possible!
