Our second annual tool sale was held at Mono Village Plaza on Saturday (04/04/09). The turnout was excellent with more than a dozen early shoppers waiting at the gate prior to opening. A wide selection of used and new tools, surplus building supplies and assorted household items were quickly snatched up at bargain prices.
The event, operating under the precision planning of board member Richard Feaster went off without a hitch. This years receipts from the event topped $2800. Many thanks to the many volunteers that took part in the overall effort of planning, tool collection, materials transportation, advertising, set-up, tear-down, sales reps, cashiers, coordination, etc.
As always 100 percent of the proceeds from this sale will go towards our mission of building affordable homes for hardworking families in Tuolumne County.
