Dec 22, 2009
On December 21, 2009, HFHTC received a $10,000 check from Umpqua Bank for the Parrott's Ferry Village development. This sizable donation came from Umpqua Bank's Community Giving Program out of Oregon. When HFHTC was in negotiations with Umpqua Bank for the purchase of Parrott's Ferry Village, HFHTC spoke with Scott Reich, Community Reinvestment Act Officer and Nicole Stein (Senior VP of Community Responsibility).
They had each indicated that when the purchase was final, Umpqua would like to support HFHTC with a financial donation. HFHTC submitted the necessary paperwork to Ms. Stein and we received the check in less than sixty days. In the letter that came with the check, Ms. Stein said, "We are pleased to confirm that we have granted your request to contribute to the program at the $10,000 level. We believe your organization is doing important work that benefits our community greatly and we are proud to support you."
Thank you Umpqua bank for helping HFHTC to help our neighbors!
